ISO certification

The company’s Environmental Business Division received certification from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) of its environment management system (ISO14001) on March 30, 2006. The company previously received ISO14001 certification for its Production Division on October 21, 1999. We would like to take this opportunity to also announce that our Production Division on March 23, 2006, received ISO9001 certification for the quality management system in its precise cleaning business and chemical products business. The precious metals and environmental businesses are our mainstay. We believe that the above certifications will lead to more business as they will improve our customers’ trust and will respond to the expectations of our communities. 


1. Acquisition of ISO14001 certification (March 30, 2006) of the environmental   　management system in the Environmental Business Division. 
Subject areas: Business operations listed below. 
(1) Collection and transport (including reloading and storage), and intermediate treatment (crushing, neutralization) of industrial waste 
(2) Collection and transport (including reloading and storage [excluding waste polychlorinated biphenyls [PCB) of industrial waste subject to special control (sludge, waste oil, waste acid, waste alkali, waste PCB) 
(3) Intermediate treatment (neutralization) of industrial waste subject to special control (waste acid, waste alkali) 
(4) Silver recovery from waste fixing solution 

 

2. Acquisition of ISO9001 certification (March 23, 2006) of the quality management system in its precise cleaning business and chemical products business.　 
Scope 
(1) Design, development and implementation of coating equipment / parts for semiconductors and electronic parts 
(2) Design, development and implementation of gold and palladium coating
