Impacts of the Tohoku district-off the Pacific Ocean Earthquake

We would like to offer our prayers to all those who lost their lives in the Tohoku district-off the Pacific Ocean Earthquake, as well as our sympathy to the survivors suffering from the disaster. We also deeply appreciate the warm thoughts and expressions of consolation that we have received from those outside Japan.

Thankfully, the earthquake did not cause serious damage to our offices in the Tohoku district. We are now back to normal business operations with some exceptions. Please note that although the Iwaki office of the food products division is now closed, its functions have transferred to the head office in Shinjuku, Tokyo.
