Matsuda Sangyo's seafood product business took its first steps with a focus on "sukeso surimi" fish paste, which was developed as a raw material in the 1960s, and introducing it to the seafood paste product industry. We currently hold one of the world's largest sales shares for surimi fish paste. We have also expanded our product lineup to include fish meal, fish oil, and fillets, and we propose solutions to meet our customers' needs.
Matsuda Sangyo’s surimi fish paste business was launched in 1961 to introduce “sukeso surimi,” developed as a raw ingredient, to the boiled fish paste product industry that we had until we began delivering egg whites. By communicating the demands of end-users to manufacturers, we contributed greatly to improvements in the quality of surimi fish paste products, and to the development of the boiled fish paste product industry.

Matsuda Sangyo’s representative products include a wide range of surimi fish paste made from Alaska pollock, southern blue whiting, blue grenadier, golden threadfin bream, croaker, and beltfish, among others. We have supplied tens of thousands of tons of surimi fish paste throughout the long history of the surimi fish paste business, and our sales record ranks among the top in the industry.
Matsuda Sangyo has strengthened its ties with main production areas that handle surimi fish paste. By leveraging these connections, we are now also expanding our business into the aquaculture feed industry.

Fish meal, fish oil
In addition to fish meal imported from Peru, India, Oman, and Thailand, we also stock domestically produced fish meal from Hokkaido. We also deal in fish oil, both produced in Hokkaido and imported.
